Picture a lavender field in France... The brilliant Purples with pops of Green and Brown. That is the inspiration for my color story..
My color story is Violet, Shamrock, and Sunshine. Purple has always been my favorite color. Emerald Green is my fiance's favorite color. I tried to figure out how we could incorporate both without it looking obnoxious. We decided to go with the Mardi Gras theme and use Purple, Green, and Gold. Each BM will wear each color. It's going to be fun and memorable.
We have chosen to do Ivory and Clover. The Clover will bring out our Irish side without doing the traditional catholic ceremony
Black and Sunshine represent so much for my fiancee and I. Unlike a majority of couples, we met each ther later in life. My fiancee had an eight year old daughter when we first began to hang out so we decided to take thing super slow. Five years later she asks us when we were going to get married and he proposed! Over the years we nicknamed her "Bee" and even decorated her bedroom as so! To incorperate her into our wedding we chose our theme, "Meant to Bee" with the colors of Black and Yellow! And may I just add, Black bridesmaids dresses with accented with Sunshine looks really sharp next to a white wedding dress!
In the fall of 2009, I experienced my first Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and fell in love with hot air balloons. I knew then that hot air balloons were going to be part of my future in some way. Last fall, I became a first time home buyer. At the final walk-through, my home builder mentioned that my next door neighbor was a pilot and had his own balloon. He told my mom that she could trust him. It took a while for us to actually meet, but once we did we quickly built a great friendship with lots of common interests, including hot air balloons. I had been out ballooning with him, but hadn't actually gone up for my first flight. Over Memorial Day, he took my aunt and uncle for their first flight. After they landed, he surprised me and had me hop in the basket. It was an amazing first flight experience - and before we landed, he asked me to marry him! Our wedding colors are going to match his balloon, Shadow Dancer, which are Purple and Orange.
I love your dresses in the color Tealness as it is very unique. I love to do things that are different than the typical wedding, yet classy at the same time. Tealness is such a bold color and it looks good on many skin tones. I am excited to have it in my Wedding next Spring! It should make for beautiful pictures, especially next to a pop of Fuschia in the flowers!

I have never been a girly girl but I think my wedding is when I get to feel like the prettest girl. When adding color to the wedding I think it just gives it that extra girly feeling and that's what I want because I was never the grily girl growing up.
I have chose Sugar Plum! Seeing this color takes me back to the 1920's. When the music and the fashion came to a ground-breaking fork in the road. It's soft blush hue mixed with a slight creamy texture comforts me. I feel very fun and free but at the same time elegant when I wear this color. It is definitely my wedding color. with accents of pearls, and grey. The men will wear dark charcoal suits with an ivory/pearly Ascot tie and vest. To accompany this soft color I will have creamy hydrangeas and light pink Evelyn Roses. I picked those flowers because the Hydrangeas are an all around soft flower, and the Evelyn Rose is as delicate. Unlike the normal rose, the Evelyn rose has that same character as the color I have chosen for the wedding. Delicate, subdued, and pleasant. Along with the flowers will be crystal and pearl sprays. To counteract the the softness, it will give shape and definition but will not over power the overall character that I am going for. Everything is very flowy.
My fiance's favorite color is blue and I like how calm it is so we really like cobalt. Didn't think my fiance would ever pick my wedding color but its all good!
Most people say that puppy love does not last forever. In high school my groom and myself were dating, I felt that he was not what I wanted so I called everything off. It has been a little over three years and we are now back together and I have NEVER experienced a love like this. The reason why I chose Cherry Red is not only because Red if the color of February, but Red is the color of blood and without the heart you would not be able to properly circulate blood flow. I feel that without bernard in my life the world would not be as beautiful as it is now.
I have chosen the colors Fuscia and Tangelo. I have always been a fan of bright colors and Orange happens to be one of my fav. Since this is going to be my big day, why not go out with a bang? Something that I know tells my story. Unfortunately we don't have much in our budget but I am depending on God to help make my day perfect and my dreams of a perfect wedding come true....
My mother was the most important women in the world to me, and my dream was to have her be at my wedding to support me. She had been there for the births of my first two children, and at the time I thought that she would be there for everything. My mom passed away in 2008, from cancer, and ever since I knew that instead of having my favorite color for the wedding I would now use my moms favorite color, which is Purple, for my whole wedding, so that I feel like my mom is all around me on my wedding day, the one day that I really want her to be there!!!
My wedding is in February 2011. The colors are Turquoise and Brown. We will be using the Jade and Espresso. My fiance and I both love these colors together. Together it is a great masculine and feminine combination. I love calm colors, whereas my fiance loves bold colors, so the Espresso gives me the calming effect while the Jade will spice up the wedding colors a little. I am interested in the 7017 in Jade with the Espresso sash for my bridesmaids. It is going to be beautiful. I am excited to see the colors come together.
The colors I chose are Fushia and Grape, Fushia was chosen because that shade of Pink is the only shade of Pink i love. It reminds me roses and romance, it makes me feel like a woman and sexy whenever i wear the color. For me it makes a bold statement. this color was my choice representing the color of women ,soft, pretty and bold. Grape was chosen by my fiance , any Purple shade shows valor, and bravery and I think he is a man with many strengths, he is very brave ,couragous and a man who provides for his family. Purple I agreed to because I thought the two colors were perfect together. The dress #7017 in those colors just confirmed our choices. I love the Purple and Fushia Pink lilies. I just adore them and that will be my bouquet selection. I wanted to something different with colors not the traditional Fall colors and these color were the ones I wanted. A bright color because I am having a garden wedding and thought it would look nice for photograpy.
Short Clover dresses with Pink accents are going to be SO amazing on my beautiful bridesmaids at my I went out to look for bridesmaid gowns, knowing only that I wanted them to be some shade of Pink - and when I saw the Alfred Angelo color swatches, I knew it had to be Fuschia. It reminded me of Barbie pink and I wanted my bridesmaids to look and feel as beautiful and glamorous as Barbie dolls.
I had chosen my bridesmaids dresses from another supplier and was told the color was being discontinued!
The matron of honor will wear Harvest Gold. We are getting married during Christmas and I am going all out with decorations {I do anyway, my soon to be husband calls me Mrs. Griswalk} Brenda.
